Easy, fast data transfer with Mobile High Speed for MacOS
New software wizard for mobile high speed connections
Berlin, May 29, 2002 nova media, specialist for mobile data solutions, introduces Mobile High Speed for Mac OS, the first GSM, HSCSD and GPRS Wizard for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X. Mobile High Speed for Mac OS can be used to establish easy and fast mobile high speed connections for Internet, Remote Access and FTP connections worldwide, supporting more than 50 GSM networks and most Cell phones from Motorola, Nokia, Siemens and SonyEricsson.
"Setting up GRPS and HSCSD connections has never been so easy on a Mac.", states Volker Kohl, CEO of Nova Media. "We are thrilled to offer a solid solution to professionals and occasional mobil users alike."
Mobile High Speed for Mac OS detects the cell phone and GSM network by itself and offers the choice of the available connection type: GSM, HSCSD or GPRS. Thus, the user is freed of the necessity to input data like APN and DNS numbers, quality of service parameters and so on. Mobile High Speed for Mac OS supports connections via Bluetooth, Infrared and USB as well as datacards.
"Up to now, data transmission via GSM was like using a narrow trail", claims Robert Seitz, CSO at Nova Media. "With Mobile High Speed for Mac OS you can finally use the motorway and get things done easy and quick."
Mobile High Speed for Mac OS supports all possible speeds in GSM networks, from basic 9.600 bit/s up to 57600 bit/s and all standard connection protocols ranging from V.32 and V.34 to ISDN V.110 and V.120.
