Use your GC86/GC89 with Mac OS X

Thank you for purchasing the GC86/GC89 EDGE/Wireless LAN PC Card.

To use the GC86/GC89 with your Mac OS X system, you will need “Mobile High Speed – Sony Ericsson Edition”. This application enables you to set up and use EDGE, GPRS and GSM connections.

Mobile High Speed – Sony Ericsson Edition supports the following languages:
English, French, German, Italian

Principal Limitations:
Mobile High Speed – Sony Ericsson Edition enables you to configure and use EDGE, GPRS and GSM connections via the GC86/GC89 PC Card. It does not provide any other functionality. For example, Wireless LAN, SMS and SIM Address Book are not supported. See application documentation for more information.

How to download and install the software

Online with your Mac and GC86/GC89 PC datacard in seconds

1. Download the software

Please click on the link to the left to download the latest version of Mobile High Speed – Sony Ericsson Edition. The size is 6.4 Megabyte.

2. Mount the software

Wait until the download is complete. If your web browser and system are properly configured, Disk Copy (10.2) or Finder will open and mount the downloaded disk image. If this does not happen, locate in Finder the .dmg file that you downloaded and double-click it to open and mount the image.

3. Install the software and restart

When the disk image mounts, a new Finder window will open that contains the icon for Mobile High Speed installer. Double click on the installer icon to install the latest version of Mobile High Speed.

Select to restart after the installation is complete

4. Open the Software folder

Please find the "Mobile High Speed SEMC" folder in the Application folder of your Hard Disk.
