Special note for US customers:
If you have a WAP-GPRS subscription, then please select the "WGPRS" setting in the network selection.
Nokia 6600:
The bluetooth stack of the Nokia has a firmware error, so no connection to a Palm OS Handheld is possible. You have to have the firmare update to at least version 5.3.7 by your Nokia partner. Press *#0000# on your Nokia to have the firmware version displayed.
Nokia 6230:
Due to a failure in the Nokia Bluetooth stack, Tap-Dialing and SMS is not possible at the moment
GPRS connections work fine.
Other Cell phones:
- Sometimes the GPRS network is occupied. Please try at a different time.
- Check if your cell phone supports GPRS and GPRS is activated for your SIM Card.
- Check if you use the right subscription plan. In some cases you have to have a GPRS data subscription and not a GPRS WAP subscription.
- Check to see if your infrared and/or bluetooth port on the cell phone is working.
- For Nokia phones, any paired bluetooth devices have to be authorized in the bluetooth menu of the Nokia phone to avoid any extra confirmation.
- Please do not install the software again. Reasons for a failed connection are mostly caused by external issues. Please check the firmware of your phone and the GPRS subscription first.
